Undergroundhero 70's classic rock seems to be something that many musicians favor in Sweden. While underground music scenes seem stagnant in some places, the Swedish have a way of keeping their scene alive longer, but also seem to make it sound better!

Amaxa are another great band from Sweden, whose classic rock influences are interwoven into their brand of bluesy stoner rock. For those of you who like stoner rock, the sound of Sweden is unmatched! Amaxa is another example to hear why.

Final Escape 03:35
FINAL ESCAPE You whisper something in my ear I think it’s to much to handle You want to push me in your own direction I feel run over by a heavy truck I hear the voices in the street I see the shape of someone I try to tell you that I have to get out there I’m gettin out I’m breaking free CHORUS I have to work undercover Hiding from madness Fighting the sadness Leaving this world of deception Wheelin’ and dealin’ Reelin’ that feelin’ I have to work undercover Hiding from madness Fighting the sadness Brightness in the night A different light A different sight Different sight You’re writing something in my brain You are twisting my vision You try to turn out the light in my light house You make the ocean throw her waves at me I hear the voices in the street I see the shape of someone I try to tell you that I have to get out there I’m gettin out I’m breaking free CHORUS What is wrong with you What is wrong with you CHORUS

Elusive 03:08
ELUSIVE You don’t hear me or anyone else I don’t know what you want but I, I know that I can’t help... no no you, you’re fooling yourself I dont know how, I don’t know why but how is it possible to know You got your own view you throw your own dice but it’s time to understand yeah, it’s time to realize no one cares, you’re on your own CHORUS Think what you want but I’m sure you know Say what you want but I know you know Your stupid thoughts ignore them please it’s all in your head Think what you want but I’m sure you know Say what you want but I know you know Your stupid thoughts ignore them please just let them go Coming soon middle age you’re soon an old man Life so far has been to easy and now it’s time to pay... no no you, you’re out of your mind You don’t know how you don’t know why but how could you possibly not know Think about the future about making a change Make you plans carefully make them thoughtfully yeah You better start now before it’s too late CHORUS

SHOOTING STAR Once I had a dream that I held on to Thoughts were bright and a star was born and you said Better believe it now Better believe in yourself ´cause it’s true Well you know that it’s true now You know that it’s true I believed that I was on my way Filled with hope and promises I trusted you when you said Better believe it now Better believe in yourself ´cause it’s true Well you know that it’s true now you know that it’s true CHORUS Right on from the start you tore my world apart What did I ever do to you All those aching days to much that I had to face What did I ever do to you That’s when I start to muse I got to hunt that feeling until I know it’s true Then it’s hard to fuse I better scream it out, scream it out Time to face the truth You got me on the run you got me you know my name... CHORUS

Don´t Feed 05:21
DON’T FEED They speak of love and yet there’s violence in the air Because of something they can see everywhere One blames another when they’ve done their killing deeds And then they tell us that they’re just what we need Why speak against them when they refuse to hear You cannot listen when you build your love on fear Faith in eternity Humans and vanity Trust in reality And don’t let them feed your head with lies... This is for all believers let’s invite them in Come and partake in all of natures deadly sin It’s been around since the beginning of all days And yet you cannot see it through your faithful haze It may seem farfetched but you just need to look You cannot justify it all with one book Faith in eternity Humans and vanity Trust in reality And don’t let them feed your head with lies... There is a moral choice in every human being We don’t need prophets now to tell us of their dreams It’s time for better things it’s time to be aware And find the wonderness of life everywhere...

WELCOME IN SANITY One more round he said and I said OK We don’t have to grow up anyway Way past midnight feeling young and clever Ready for this mornings next endevaour Don’t ask me how Don’t stop me Now we’re happy no thoughts of tomorrow My mind’s traveling away from sorrow Don’t ask me how Don’t stop me CHORUS The solution is inside me The only thing left that defines me The solution is inside me Welcome in sanity Once I’m under there’s no way to surface making choices without cause or purpose Now is what I will regret tomorrow But I don’t care cause I’m feeling hollow Don’t ask me how Don’t stop me CHORUS I feel strong Do not try to change me Holdin’ on Everything must stay the same Same old song Repeating and repeating itself Living on Being true to myself and my name... CHORUS The solution is inside me The solution is inside me Desillusion is inside me Welcome insanity

THE HEARTACHE OF PHILIP MARLOWE Browsing through the archives I am chasing the truth Files with information Rollin’ in As I decipher your stories Your lies will be revealed Keep on rollin’, keep on rollin’ CHORUS Help me stop the shapes from dancing in my mind Fighting visions of the days when you were kind Watching hope sails down the hope sails down the stream Going to hunt down another dream The fingerprints are glowing Forms a map of your deeds Lies no longer working Goin’ down Have your date with the hangman Caress the guillotine Goin’ down down, goin’ down down CHORUS CHORUS

Demands 04:19
DEMANDS They’ve got a lot of demands that’s all I hear Does anybody have a chance I haven’t heard How can I know just what they want from me How can I grow when I’m not to know just what they want I’ve been living a whole year without a dime Poverty has now become my pear and we pass the time If you want to play the game you’ve got to know their rules No matter what you say you know your bound to lose CHORUS I hear my self saying everything I’ve got to be on top of the world And no one knows better than me I’m just an ordinary guy They’ve got a lot of demands that’s all I hear Does anybody have a chance I haven’t heard How can I know just what they want from me How can I grow when I’m not to know just what they want CHORUS

Afterglow 06:02
AFTERGLOW I know I should be in pain now Everything around me is falling apart But somehow I’m smiling like I’m happy I’m about as logical as life We have a life together that we do not share It’s like we live as one completely unaware We’re taking different roads and no one is to blame I guess the good news is that nothing stays the same I am tired of this destructive romance All these endless games and bad charades Some were well played others built on feelings Love can die and be replaced by us I would like to save some precious memories I know that you want to have them too We can still recall the first I love you said to one another being true We had a life together but now we are free It took so many years and now that we can see We don’t know where to go but that is quite ok We used to be together what more can I say...
